Feeling Voices
Sharing stories that deserve to be heard.
“Welcome to Feeling Voices, a space dedicated to amplifying the heartfelt and often hidden stories of mothers who have experienced the unimaginable—being separated from their children by social services and court systems. We also give voice to adult adoptees and those who have lived through separation, such as foster care.
This isn’t about politics. It’s about people. It’s about healing, understanding, and connection. Through intimate interviews and carefully chosen music, we offer a place for these stories to be shared with dignity and compassion.
I’m Donna Marie, and my journey began with the belief that my birth mother was coerced into giving me up for adoption in the early 1970s. Decades later, I see similar heartbreaking separations happening, and I felt called to create this platform.
Thank you for being here. I invite you to listen, learn, and feel.”
Why I created Feeling Voices?
I wanted to create a compassionate space where mothers, adoptees, and anyone impacted by separation could share their voices without judgment. Through honest conversations and meaningful music, I hope to foster healing, understanding, and connection.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’re here to listen or share, your presence matters.
